Actress cum politician Khushbu who is currently serving as a National Executive Committee member for BJP party, reacted to the ongoing “Hijab” issue by saying that school is not a place for students to choose what they should wear. The actress said that no one is going to question the students on what they are going to wear outside school and asked such students to respect the code of conduct. The tweet gained the actress a severe backlash with many questioning actress about the viral video in which a bunch of saffron boys heckled a lone Muslim girl for wearing burqa.

A follower uploaded a video of the girl named Muskan being harassed by the mob and said that the same could happen to her children. Replying tot him, the actress said “Do not speak about your party to me. Who will know better about u than me? It all started after a student in her hijab stood her ground as she was heckled by a large group of slogan shouting young men wearing saffron scarves at a college named Mandya Pre-university college in Karnataka. In the video, the young woman was seen parking her scooter and heading towards the college campus.
