The accused, Lakshmapriya, was caught by the police while she was on the run after giving a quotation to her new boyfriend to get rid of her old boyfriend. The incident took place last Wednesday when Lakshmapriya, along with her friend, abducted her ex-boyfriend in a car. The young man was then beaten up in Alappuzha on the way from Varkala to Ernakulam. Later, he was taken to a house in Kochi Bypass, where he was stripped, tied, and beaten.

The police informed that the accused will be interrogated in detail and the necessary steps, including evidence collection, will be taken soon. According to reports, the girlfriend had given a quotation to her new boyfriend to get rid of her ex-boyfriend as he had refused to withdraw from the relationship. The reason for the beating was revenge for the man’s attempts to continue the relationship.
