Young and emerging filmmaker Karthik Naren who is pretty much active in social media platforms nowadays, reacted to a meme which trolled him for his recently released science fiction “Project Agni”. The template used for the meme showed random fictional activities such as the statue of Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar ejecting fire from his eyes and destroying a space ship, Aliens planting American flag in the space, Lord Vishnu holding a gun and creatures such as crocodile., dinosaur roaming around etc. The meme creator, in a way of trolling Karthik Naren based on “Project Agni”, said that this is how he is writing his stories.

To our surprise, the young filmmaker saw the meme and shared it in the story of his official Instagram account and assured the probability of himself doing it literally. Karthik has been interacting with his followers nowadays through meme templates and movie screen shots. “Project Agni” is getting majority number of positive reviews with few pointing out what didn’t work out for them in the film. Prior release, Karthick naren who received mixed reviews for his previous film “Mafia”, believed that it is the time to prove himself and added tweets hinting the same.

He uploaded a screen shot from “Sarpatta Parambarai” in which Arya could be seen saying “Go and tell them it’s my time now” to prove himself in the field he chose. Karthik who related it with his real life, shared it in his official social media handles.

Hours before Project Agni’s release, Karthik posted a screen shot from “Aadukalam” in which Dhanush would boost courage to his cock by saying “Vitradha da thambi” ( Don’t give up, my brother). Now, the filmmaker reacted to the meme and also shared some of his favourite scenes from films such as “the Dark Knight Rises” and “Interstellar”.

Project Agni which had actors Aravind Swami and Prasanna in the lead, is worthy of to be taken in the same breath as The Matrix and Interstellar. The climax twist of the Karthick Naren’s directorial is garnering special mentions from the critics as well. A number of social media users trolled the film for the content it carried as well. Now, the young filmmaker had reacted to one such troll.

Reacting to the meme, Naren uploaded another template which said “Don’t mind if I do”
