Karthi starring “Viruman” released in theatres recently and is running successfully. As a part of the film’s promotion, the actor attended various events, programs and shared about how the film was made. The actor also took part in a fans meet and answered to the questions of Manimegalai and Kuraishi of Vijay TV fame. Candidly answering to their questions, Karthi opened about the disadvantage n bein taller than his elder brother actor Suriya.

Suriya and Karthi, born to veteran actor Sivakumar, has two years difference between them. While the elder brother made his acting debut through “Nerukku Ner” in the year 1997, Karthi entered film industry only around 2008 through the film “Paruthi Veeran” which became a massive blockbuster.

After that, Karthi continued to give blockbusters in regular intervals and Suriya also gained the top-tier status through his hard work. Most lately, the actor who already produced a movie named “Kadaikutty Singam” by having his younger brother in the lead role, produced one more film titled “Viruman” and released it in theatres with huge promotions across the state.

In one of the promotional events, Karthi met his fans and talked about his journey in the film industry right from working as an assistant director in Manirathnam’s “Aayudha Ezhuthu” which had Suriya in the lead role. He also shared about the relationship between himself and his brother in their home. Karthi said that the atmosphere will be heated up if he and Suriya are in the same place of the house.

“If me and my brother stay together in house, there will be a heat. If I am watching TV in house and my brother comes, one can feel the heat. He will go directly to the remote and would change the channel I am watching. Problem will also erupt for dresses. Like others, in my house, same pattern of dress will be bought for us siblings. I will always think of dressing like my brother as I don’t think on my own” Karthi said.

“I will be waiting for him to wear something and would wear the same like him. He would ask me to change it but I won’t” the actor candidly shared. Further talking about using the things used by Suriya, Karthi said that it’s the opposite as far as the dresses are concerned. “I grew a bit taller than him. He will use all the dresses of mine but I couldn’t use his dresses as they wouldn’t fit. That’s his advantage” Karthi shared.
