Actress Kannika Ravi who recently got married to lyricist Snehan, came up with an emotional post in her official Instagram handle, expressing her love towards her husband. The post surfaced after Snehan entered the Bigg Boss house for the second time as a contestant, this time to take part in its “Ultimate version”. Uploading a video of herself packing clothes with her husband, Kannika added the song “Poi Solla” in the background and wrote the lyrics of the song as her post’s caption. It is notable that he lyrics of the chartbuster were written by Snehan himself for the film “April Maathathil”.

Lyric writer cum politician Snehan married the love of his Kannika Ravi on 29th of July, 2021 in the presence of legendary actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam Founder Kamal Haasan. The wedding ceremony took place at a posh hotel in Vadapalani, Chennai with limited guests due to COVID 19 restrictions in the state. Legendary director Bharathi Raja, Director Ameer, Pazha Karuppiah, Orator-actor Gnanasammantham, Pazha. Karuppiah, Taj Noor, Nakkeeran Gopal are some of the other guests attended the special event.

It has been reported that Snehan and Kannika were in a relationship for a very long time and the duo got married with the approval of both their families. Snehan who wrote lyrics for over 2500 Tamil songs, became a household name only after taking part in the Kamal Haasan hosting Bigg Boss show as a participant. After his Bigg Boss stint, Snehan joined Kama’s “Makkal Needhi Maim” party and contested as an MLA candidate in the Tamil nadu assembly elections 2021.

The 42 year old became the runner up of the Tamil Bigg Boss’s inaugural season. Kannika Ravi is known for her on screen presence in serials such as “Amudha Oru Acharya Kuri” and “Kalyana Veedu”. The 27 year old hosted Television shows as well. Now, 6 months after is marriage, Snehan entered the Bigg Boss house again to take part in the OTT version of the show.

Kannika who appeared in the inaugural event, got blessings from Kamal Haasan along with her husband before sending her husband into the house. Snehan also uttered a poem for his newly married wife, expressing his emotions over himself being separated from her for a longer time.

Meanwhile, Kannika, in her official Instagram account, uploaded a video of herself helping her husband to pack his clothes to enter the Bigg Boss house. She also highlighted the lyrics which was written by Snehan himself as it suited well for her current situation.
