After Kamal got defeated by BJP’s Vanathi Srinivasan in the Tamil nadu assembly elections, many fans and followers of the actor got dejected and has been expressing their emotions in social media platforms. They who demanded recounting of votes, also shared videos of people who belong to Coimbatore South disagreeing with the election result. A viral video is doing rounds in social media platforms since Monday morning and it shows a set of women suspecting malpractice in the election result of their constituency.

In an unexpected turn of events, ace actor and founder of “Makkal Needhi Maiam” party Kamal Haasan was defeated in Coimbatore South. It was BJP’s Vanathi Srinivasan who garnered 1500 votes more than him at the end of counting of the votes polled in the recently held Tamil nadu assembly election. Kamal was in leading till 6 PM of the counting day and the result was announced as Vanathi as the winner at 9 PM.
