Actress Kasthuri who shared screen space with Kamal Haasan in his blockbuster movie “Indian” as his sister, criticized him for the lyrics of “Pathala Pathala” from his upcoming film “Vikram”. The actress said that Kamal sidelined with DMK party by selling the film to them and vented his vengeance of losing to Vanathi Srinivasan in the Tamil nadu assembly election through his lyrics. It is notable that Kasthuri took part as a contestant in the Bigg Boss show which was hosted by Kamal Haasan.

On the evening of 12th May, Vikram’s first single “Pathala Pathala” released as lyrical video. For the first time in sevaral years, Kamal Haasan appeared for a mass masala kind of song and it impressed majority number of mainstream audience. With Anirudh composing music for the folk song, Kamal wrote the lyrics, performed and sung the song.

“Vikram” is the first film of Kamal Haasan post his participation in the Tamilnadu assembly election 2021. Unfortunately, he lost to BJP’s Vanathi Srinivasan after contesting in Coimbatore South as an MLA candidate. Now, through his lyrics in the first song of “Vikram”, the actor who is pretty much vocal in voicing against the ruling party in the centre, expressed his opinions.

“Ondriyathin Thappale, Onniyumilla Ippale”, “Saavi Ippo Thirudan Kaila” are some of the lyrics from the song which were believed to be written against the BJP party which is ruling in the centre. Mentioning about the same, actress Kasthuri, in her tweet, said that Kamal vented out all his vengeance about losing to BJP’s Vanathi through his lyrics.

“Sagala kala Vallavan + Markandeyan = Kamal. He expressed all his vengeance of losing to Vanathi through the lyrics. With the single word “Ondriyam”, he shrunk all his politics. Though there is no alliance party wise, through the film they showed it” Kasthuri said by linking DMK and Kamal’s MNM.

“Vikram” is scheduled to release in theatres on 3rd of June and the trailer, audio of the film is going to be unveiled on 15th of May. Along with Kamal, the film stars and ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Fassil, Naren and others. Latest report emerged saying that actor Suriya had done a cameo in the film. Music composed by Anirudh, the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial was bankrolled by Kamal’s “Raaj Kamal International”.
