As soon as Chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy accused Kamal haasan of spoiling families and kids by hosting Bigg Boss show, the “Hey raam” actor came up with a cheeky tweet as a response. The actor said that he feels happy as Chief minister of this state is watching the show he is hosting. It is notable that Kamal never promoted Bigg Boss show through his twitter handle in previous occasions.

During an interaction with press reporters, Chief minister Edappadi K pazhaniswamy, while replying to a question regarding Kamal Haasan, said that his opinions should not be taken seriously as his only intention is to spoil families through his films and works.

Kamal Haasan is slamming the ruling government for past few days. The actor said that MGR was never a “DMK Thilagam” or “ADMK Thilagam” but “Makkal Thilagam” (People’s leader) through one of his tweets. “You people who never got a chance to see MGR’s face, remember that I grew up in his lap” said Kamal in his tweet pointing out the members of DMK and ADMK. “You people who never got a chance to see MGR’s face, remember that I grew up in his lap” said Kamal in his tweet pointing out the members of DMK and ADMK. He also pointed out that the government officers of this ruling government are corrupted as many of them are stealing people’s money.

Responding to these accusation, Chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy, while interacting with media said that Kamal entered politics after retiring from Cinema. “He is new to politics. What would he know ?? He retired from Cinema and entered politics now. He is 70 year old and is hosting Bigg Boss show. How it would be if people hosting Bigg Boss show run a political party ?” he questioned.

“Families will get spoiled if they watch Bigg Boss. I guess you all know about Bigg Boss show. I think it is being telecasted in Vijay television. He is hosting that kind of show and you reporters are demanding me to answer his questions. You seem to be an experienced reporter. Ask some fair questions. He is not intended to do good for people. His job is to spoil the families which are doing good. Kids and families will get spoiled if they watch that show” said Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy.

“He could conduct a show showing how rivers are being linked or conduct a show about farmers and agriculture. Educate students through your programs. Puratchi Thalaivar MGR made so many songs educating people during his time. Did Kamal sing any one song in his films as such ? If a family is watching a film of him, then it will get vanished. So we don’t have to take his opinions seriously” the chief minister said.

Now, replying to these statements of Chief minister, Kamal Haasan, in his official twitter account where he is enjoying 64 lakh plus followers, said that he feels happy on knowing the fact that Chief minister of this state is watching his “Bigg Boss” show. “முதல்வரும் பிக்பாஸ் பார்க்கிறார் என்பது மகிழ்ச்சியளிக்கிறது” his tweet read.

Bigg Boss is a reality game show that consists 15 plus cinema, TV celebrities participating as contestants. Kamal Haasan who appears in the weekend would analyse the week and resolve the issues between the contestants. The actor who believes that the Bigg Boss house is a miniature of the entire society, using the platform to promote his political party “Makkal Needhi Maiam”.

In one of the recent episodes, he appeared by wearing an attire which contained his party’s symbol. His double meaning phrases targeting central and state government are familiar among the followers of the show as well.
