Kamal Haasan, the leader of political party Makkal Needhi Maiam, slammed central and state government in his recent interaction with the students of Chennai Loyola college. He asked the students to take part in today’s politics without being ignorant. Kamal Haasan exhibited a word play between Karai Veshti (Dhoti) and Karai (stain). “The way you (students) let the politicians who are donning the “Karai Veshti” to take care of the politics is the reason behind politics being stained. ” said Kamal Haasan in the interview.

Taking a swipe at the Dravidian parties for engaging in politics over language and inflaming passions, the actor maintained that he was not against any language but was opposed to imposition. In a way of replying to his statements, ADMK Minister Jayakumar, to media said that Kamal would express his opinions about the society instantly like an instant Sambar and fast food “He would disappear instantly as well” said Jayakumar.

“He would participate in politics only during election period. Then he would continue to take part in Bigg Boss program. Bigg Boss show is a cultural degradation. That house looks like an “Ali baba” den and those participants are desperate in coming out of it.” he added.

Adding on further, Jayakumar said that Kamal Haasan is the main reason behind the impersonation which are taking place in NEET exams. “Through his Vasool Raja MBBS movie, Kamal started teaching students about how to malpractice in exams. He must not talk about politics amidst college students” Jayakumar said according to sources.

As soon as this news surfaced in Internet, netizens started trolling the minister for his statements. They trolled him for comparing a movie character with a real life personality and few went to next level and provided examples of actor and former leader of ADMK party, M.G.R’s movie characters which were portrayed in a negative way.
