Alok Kumar Maurya, the husband of SDM Jyoti Maurya, has taken further steps to address the matter by seeking action during a public meeting, known as Janata Darbar, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He has filed a complaint at the National Guard Headquarters, requesting action at the departmental level against his wife, the SDM, and her alleged lover, who happens to be a Commander in the National Guard. Alok has leveled serious accusations against his wife, including bribery charges, and has submitted WhatsApp chat logs between Jyoti and her alleged lover as evidence along with his complaint.

The entire issue revolves around the marriage of Alok Kumar Maurya and Jyoti Maurya in 2010. At the time of their marriage, Alok worked as a Class IV employee in the Panchayat Raj Department. Jyoti expressed her desire to continue her studies, so they relocated to Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad), where Alok supported her in preparing for the civil service examination.

However, despite the evidence provided, the police have yet to register the case. Consequently, Alok Kumar Maurya has appealed for action to be taken in this matter during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Janata Darbar. In addition, he has filed a complaint at the National Guard Headquarters against his wife, the SDM, and her alleged lover, the Commander of the National Guard, seeking action at the departmental level. Alok has also made grave allegations against Jyoti, accusing her of accepting bribes. He has provided evidence of bribery and demanded appropriate action. Furthermore, he has shared WhatsApp chat conversations between his wife and her alleged lover with the police as supporting evidence.

In an unexpected turn of events, Jyoti Maurya filed a dowry harassment lawsuit against her husband and in-laws on May 7, 2023. She accused them of demanding a Fortuner car and money.
