While the film was declared hit across all the regions, makers of “Valimai” landed in trouble after a police case filed against them. According to reports, a scene that took place in the film led a group of lawyers to approach commissioner office and request the Chennai Commissioner to take legal action against the director and producer of the Ajith-starrer.

“Valimai” revolves around a cop named Arjun who is about to hunt a biking gang which is involved in causing harm to the people of Chennai by providing drugs, committing murders and chain snatching by using their bike riding skills. When Arjun is all set to nab them with his experience in Police department, he comes to know about his own brother being the part of the evil gang.

Rest of the film lies on whether Arjun saved his brother and youngsters from the head of the evil gang. Ensemble cast of the film includes, Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya, Sumithra, Pugazh, Pavel and others. With Yuvan Shankar Raja composing music for the song, Ghibram took care of the background score. As far as the box office report of the film concerned, the H. Vinoth directorial which got released on 24th of February, collected Rs. 150 crore and is having a good footfall on weekdays.

Now, a report surfaced saying that the Lawyers association has filed a complain against the “Valimai” director and producer. They accused the makers of portraying lawyers in a bad light. A complaint has been registered against the “Valimai” producer and director in the Chennai Police commissioner’s office and a request has been made to the official to take appropriate action against the duo.

Though the film crew is basking in success, the accusation has disturbed the “Valimai” makers and fans. In the film, before Ajith’s introduction, a lawyer could be seen associating with youths to make them spend jail sentence for a crime that is going to be committed by someone else. The lawyer promises the youths that they will be looked after well inside the jail with their favourite food. However, the lawyer was not shown after that scene in the film.

It is notable that Boney Kapoor, Vinoth and Ajith kumar are going to join hands once again for a film which is tentatively titled as “AK 61”. In the film, Ajith is expected to play a role of a gangster and is currently working on the physical fitness for the role. Shooting of the film is going on floors from mid Marc, according to reports.
