The most awaited IPL auction which was taking place in Bengaluru got interrupted after the auctioneer who was commanding the bids got collapsed and fell down on floor. The program got immediately replaced and it left the entire cricket internet in shell shock. Named as Hugh Edmeades, the auctioneer who was actively bidding for Sri lankan player Wanindu Hasaranga went unconscious and the event got interrupted immediately. Video of the incidnet in going viral among the online users with many including cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle reacting to it.

As soon as the unexpected incident took place Lunch was taken and it has updated that the auctioneer is fine as of now. As it was not clear what happened to the auctioneer, “Sending in all the Yellove for the auctioneer to be fine!” said team Chennai Super Kings through their official twitter handle, reacting to the incident.

The event is set to resume at 3 : 30 PM and the auctioneer has been took care of, according to reports. The IPL auction 2022 is a bit different as two new teams are competing with the already existing eight teams in buying players with big money. A total of 590 cricketers are going under the hammer in the mega auction which is taking place after four long years gap. It is going to be a two day event in Bengaluru starting from 12th of February.
