In a way of clarifying about her recent picture with Arjun Das, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi cane up with a clarification through her Instagram story. The actress confirmed that it was just a casual meet up and assured all the girl fans of Arjun Das who were messaging her since the post got up, that there’s nothing romantic between them.

Adding a “heart” emoji as her caption, Aishwarya uploaded a selfie picture with “Kaithi” star Arjun Das. Many users who came across the post, started speculating that the duo are involved in a romantic relationship. However, few even assumed that it could be a promotion for one of their upcoming movies.

Aishwarya Lekshmi debuted to Tamil film industry through Karthik Subbaraj’s “Jagame Thandhiram”. She paired up with actor Dhanush in the film and gained face recognition among the Tamil cinema fans. After that, Aishwarya appeared in “Gargi” as a journalist and she also took part in the film’s production.

However, she gained widespread acclaim after appearing as “Poonguzhali” in Manirathnam’s magnum opus “Ponniyin Selvan”, second part of which is expected to hit the screens during April month of this year. Aishwarya is committed in a half a dozen of other films but she grabbed headlines on Wednesday across the media portals for a whole different reason.

Arjun Das who debuted through “Kaithi” as an antagonist, went on to feature in “Master” of Thalapathy Vijay. He who is working on a number of projects as protagonist, is expected to act in the next film of Lokesh-Vijay as well. In a very short span since his debut, Arjun managed to steal the hearts many female fans.

On Wednesday, out of nowhere, the actress dropped a selfie with Arjun Das and added a heart emoji, organically stimulating her followers to think that they are involved in a romantic relationship. In the picture, both were seen wearing wide laugh in their faces and Aishwarya held Arjun by his shoulder.
