Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who is known globally for her stints in Hollywood film industry, clapped back at an Australian journalist who questioned her qualification for announcing the nominees of Oscar award. Replying to him, Priyanka Chopra shared the filmography of herself and asked him to tell his thoughts on what qualifies someone.
On Monday, Priyanka and Nick announced the Oscar nominations where coincidentally “The White Tiger” which was both produced and acted by Priyanka Chopra won a nod for Ramin Bahrani in the best adapted screenplay category.
Australian journalist Peter Ford came up with a tweet writing ““No disrespect to these two but I’m not sure their contribution to movies qualifies them to be announcing Oscar nominees.” and added a picture of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Though he deleted it now, the screen shot of his are doing round rounds in social media platforms.
The twitter bio of the journalist reads ““the best & most widely heard entertainment reporter in Australia & NZ. Allegedly”. Replying to this tweet of him, the actress, came up with a tweet writing “Would love your thoughts on what qualifies someone. Here are my 60+ film credentials for your adept consideration “ and added a video of her filmography.
