A tweet uploaded by the official twitter account of Jaya TV during the vote counting on 2nd of May left the Netizens in splits. While all the primary TV channels were focused on covering the updates on the result on the Tamil nadu assembly elections, Jaya TV asked who were all watching Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo in their channel. They also wanted people to comment their favourite scene from the film and tweet garnered hilarious reactions from the users of Twitter.

At the time the tweet was posted, DMK party which won the election, was leading in the majority number of constituencies. Though the channel is reportedly owned by TTV Dhinakaran, many comments surfaced trolling the AIADMK party. “ப்ரோ… படகோட்டி தான எப்போ தோத்தாலும் போடுவீங்க அத ஏன் மத்தறீங்க” a twitter user trolled whereas another one said “Me pretending myself happy during my semester results”

DMK achieved a convincing victory after acting as opposition for a decade. 126 candidates of DMK have won the assembly elections and 7 others are leading in their respective constituencies, according to Election commission. “Need your suggestions and cooperation to create a better Tamil nadu.
