Kangana Ranaut of Indian film industry has been accorded Y-plus category of CRPF security by the ministry of home affairs in the wake of her spat with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, and after she said she feared for her life. Videos of herself escorted by a number of guards is doing rounds in social media platforms since morning.

Eleven commandos have been tasked with protecting Kangana. Two of the commandos will provide her mobile security, while one will guard her residence at all times across the country. This protection is informally called “VIP security”, and is generally given only to someone who holds a position of consequence either in the government or in civil society.

The centre is generally reluctant to liberally give protection to individuals, and a large number of even “important people” whose lives have been found to have been in danger, are provided security by state police. based on assessments of the threat made by the state government concerned.

Kangana Ranaut, on Wednesday arrived at the Mohali International airport in Chandigarh to board a flight to return to Mumbai. The ministry of home affairs approved Y-plus security Ranaut after she received threats for comparing Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

Several BMC officials today demolished what they cited as “illegal alterations” at Kangana Ranaut’s office in Mumbai, the process began hours before her arrival in the city. Two days back the BMC had carried out inspection of her property – Manikarnika Films in Bandra and they began with the demolition today.

Kangana posted a series of pictures wherein she gave us all a glimpse of the demolition work done by BMC in her Mumbai office. Meanwhile, the video of Kangana being guarded created enormous number of Internet users to react including actress Manjima Mohan.

One of a twitter user named as Vivek Ranjit, on seeing the video, asked whether the safety for Kangana is being paid from people’s tax money. “Is this being paid for from our tax money?” his comment read.

Actress Manjima who debuted to tamil film industry through Gautham menon’s “AYM” replied to this tweet with laughing emojis. Followed by it the actress added another reply saying “I am a bit speechless” on seeing the security level of Kangana.
