Filmmaker cum actor SJ Suryah is pretty much interactive with his followers in social media platforms nowadays. He recently participated in a Twitter space with Simbu, Venkat Prabhu and others to promote “Maanadu” film in which he is playing the role of an antagonist. Now, on the special occasion of his “New” film’s 17th year anniversary, a Twitter user requested him to upload the uncut version of “Markendaya” song which is an item number that had SJ Suryah and Kiran performing. Replying to the fan, Surya said that he couldn’t upload the song now as it was too “hot”. He also replied to director Elan saying that he reformed as a good boy now.

SJ Surya who is known for providing some epic love dramas to Tamil film industry through his filmmaking skills, is currently busy acting in films. He played villain for Vijay, Mahesh Babu lately, also essaying some light hearted protagonist roles. One of his recent blockbuster “Monster” garnered huge reception among kids and the multifaceted actor is having a number of films in his kitty. Recently, he got committed in Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film “Don” and the announcement was officially made by Lyca productions.

However, in the past, Surya used adult content as his Unique selling proposition. Every film of him had an item song and the filmmaker gained a separate fan base for that. Now, on the special occasion of New’s 17th year anniversary, a fan requested SJ Surya to upload the “Markendaya” song which was censored in theatres and television in youtube.

Replying to him, the filmmaker wrote “That song was too hot so can’t upload now” as his reply.

Elan, director of “Pyar Prema Kadhal” film replied to the tweet of SJ Surya, saying “Forget #SnyderCut , we need #SJcut sir” and the “Kushi” maker replied “That SJ Surya had now become a good boy”

Meanwhile, a fan quited the tweet of Surya and asked whether he became a good boy like “Ramsay” in :Nenjam Marapathillai” who would kill his maid after sexually harassing her in the film. SJ replied to him adding laughing emojis.
