Controversial personality Meera Mitun’s statement about a particular caste in one of her recent videos, created huge outrage in social media platforms with people demanding legal action against her. The aspiring actress said that the filmmakers who belong to scheduled caste in Tamil film industry needs to be removed and alleged that they are copying her face. She made the comment while replying to a comment in social media which said that she looks like Dhee of “Enjoy Enjaami” fame.

If you are aware of Bigg Boss show’s third season in Tamil, you must have known about Meera Mithun , one of the most talked about participants of it. One of the highly controversial episode of the season is undoubtedly the one in which Meera Mithun accused Director Cheran of physical harassment.

After accusing Director Cheran of physically assaulting her, Ulaganayagan Kamal haasan of nepotism, Superstar Rajinikanth of promoting himself during COVID 19 pandemic, Trisha and Nayanthara for copying her style, actress and model Meera Mitun, verbally attacked Vijay and Suriya as well. Her controversial videos and tweets against the top tier actors made ace director Bharathi Raja to release a press note.

In the recent video which created controversy, a guy who accompanies her highlights a comment which says that she looks like singer Dhee. “Dhee doesn’t look like me. I told you already that the people of that (names a caste) caste would involve in such activities such as stealing face. I am not talking bad about scheduled caste but I am forced to talk bad about those people because they are involving in doing bad activities” she said in the video.

“That’s why they are facing so many problems, no one is causing trouble for them for the sake of it. Scheduled caste directors and people are involving in all the bad activities. I think it is time to chuck out all these schedule caste people from the industry. They are very cheap. Why are you using my face ?” she says in the video and goes on to utter abusive language.

Sharing the video, Journalist Sonia Arunkumar demanded action against Meera Mitun. “In a period where people are removing caste from their surname, these kind of people who degrade others must be punished severely” she said in her tweet.

Man others condemned Meera Mitun and demanded severe action against her. Tagging the official twitter handle of Chennai Police, an online user wrote “when are you going to take action against her?” in his tweet whereas another user said “Though she is doing this for familiarity, but this is going beyond the limit.”
