Not many days ago, Tamil actor Prasanna raised complaint on Tamil nadu Electricity board stating that they are looting money from people using this lockdown situation. Now, actress Taapsee received electricity bill of Rs.36,000 for June month alone and received excessive bill amount for another house which was almost vacant all these days.

Sharing the screenshots of the bill she received for past three months, Taapsee asked the Adani electricity of Mumbai, what kind of POWER they are charging her for. For May month, Taapsee received electricity bill for Rs. 4, 360 and for May month she was demanded to pay Rs. 3810 as her current bill. To our Bizarre, the actress was charged Rs.35,890 as current bill for June month.

Sharing these screenshots, Taapsee said that she wonders what appliances she newly bought in her apartment that consumed this much electricity. “3 months of lockdown and I wonder what appliance(s) I have newly used or bought in the apartment only last month to have such an insane rise in my electricity bill. @Adani_Elec_Mum what kind of POWER r u charging us for?” her tweet read.

In another set of screenshots, Taapsee exposed the bill amounts she received for her empty house. She says that the apartment is visited only once for cleaning purpose and the bill amounts for the apartment are Rs. Rs.570, Rs. 730 and Rs. 8640 respectively for March, April and May months. The actress further stated that she is doubting whether someone is staying in it without her knowledge.

Sharing these screenshots, the actress sarcastically wrote “And this one is for an apartment where no one stays n it’s only visited once in a week for cleaning purpose @Adani_Elec_Mum I am now worried if someone is actually using the apartment without our knowledge and you have helped us uncover the reality “ her tweet read.

The actress tweet quickly blew up and she received a response from the Mumbai electricity board. She also questioned why the website link they provided is not opening.
