Journalist Powniya NK who is working for the Raj news, on Wednesday, came up with a tweet alleging that the authorities of India cements neglected Tamil press reporters and talked only in English throughout the event. Tamil reporters were also asked to leave the press meet by the members of India cements. As soon as the tweet surfaced, fans of team Chennai Super Kings which was founded by Chennai Super Kings and fellow reporters of Powniya, questioned the firm, asking whether they are selling their product only to non-Tamils.

Being a cement manufacturing company that is led by former International Cricket Council Chairman N. Srinivasan, India cements owns an IPL franchise named Chennai Super Kings of former Indian world cup winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The cement making company was established in the year 1946. Brands such Raasi Gold, Coramandel cement, Sankar cement are the brands owned by India cements.

On Wednesday, a journalist named Powniya came up with a tweet alleging that India cement refused to talk in Tamil in the recent press meet that they conducted. “They denied to let us ask questions in Tamil and also asked Tamil reporters to go back . Interview was provided specially to English medias” read the tweet of Powniya.
