Discussions about various topics including how filmmakers would prepare for a stunt scene, one sleepless night their films gave them, should heroes play their age in films, raise of female centric action movies etc. While answering to a question of Anupam Chopra who hosted the show about one film that made them jealous, Rajamouli of “Bahubali” and “RRR” fame said that a scene from “Jana Gana Mana” inspired him a lot and made him feel like “why this thought didn’t come to me??”
Further, he went on to add that a single shot from “Vikram” movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj made him feel like that it should have been him who directed the film instead of the “Maanagaram” maker. Immediately, Anupam Chopra asked Lokesh how he feels now to which the filmmaker said that he feels “super proud”.
“One “shot” in Vikram. The last “shot”. When Kamal sir is walking towards the camera and he puts the expression and then starts chewing the gum, I felt “This has to be mine, not some Lokesh Kanagaraj’s, This has to be mine” and laughed.
Adding to it, Kamal Haasan said “Sometimes, I didn’t have the gum, Lokesh had to remind me” to which Lokesh replied that it’s just a continuation of 1986 “Vikram” where Kamal Haasan chews gum throughout the film”. Lokesh also thanked Rajamaouli for saying that.
