A video of the owner of Delhi Capitals Kiran Kumar Gandhi seemingly trying to increase the bid amount of fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed and getting back fired is going viral among the users of social media platforms with hilarious reactions. He ended up buying Khaleel for more than Rs. 5 crores after allegedly saying that he is going to make Mumbai buy him for higher amount.

The IPL 2022 Mega auction officially got ended after two days of some intense bidding wars. All the 10 teams, including the new joined Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans, have managed to build a squad for the upcoming edition of the T20 tournament. However, unlike previous mega auctions, the bidding battle was pretty much intense due to Delhi owner Kiran Kumar Gandhi who had his paddle up for almost every other player and on most occasions, he used to pull out of the race after raising the stocks, preventing the other side from getting a player at a lesser amount.

Fans were keen enough to observe his activities and strategies at the auction and made their presence in social media platforms with evidence against him. A video footage which was recorded during the bidding war for left arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed, showed Kiran Kumar Gandhi uttering some important message to his fellow team members who were sitting on his table.

Owners of Mumbai were trying to get the pacer for their side whereas Delhi seemed to be bidding just for fun. In the video which is going viral in social media platforms, Kiran Kumar Gandhi, to their team members, allegedly said “I am gonna f*** around till 5” which suggests that e is planning to increase the amount of Khaleel Ahmed upto Rs. 5 crore before backing out to make Mumbai pay higher price for the player.

To his surprise, his strategy backfired him and amid a bit of confusion regarding the bids, the left arm pacer was sold to Delhi Capitals for Rs. 5.25 crore after Mumbai backed out in the last minute. Watch the viral video which is going viral among the IPL watching netizens :
