Legend Saravanan who is awaiting for the release of his debut film “Legend”, attended a press meet with the crew members of the film and answered to the questions of the reporters from various languages. While answering to one of the questions about himself following the mannerisms of Superstar Rajinikanth, Saravanan said that he tried his best to avoid the mannerisms of Rajinikanth but he couldn’t as he is seeing the Superstar actor as one of his inspirations.

For a very long time, there was this news about Saravana Stores owner Legend Saravanan making his debut in Kollywood film industry as protagonist. Now, the official release date of the film has been announced and it has been made public that the film is going to hit the screens on 28th of July. Earlier, it was reported that he made Lady Superstar Nayanthara to nod to pair with him in his debut. But that doesn’t elevate to next level and ended up as a mere rumour.

Selvarathinam’s son Saravanan Arul who controls different shops of Saravana Stores, was expected to enter Tamil film industry as a producer initially but after the reach of his advertisements, he decided appear as hero it seems. Saravana Arul has appeared in several advertisements of his own shops with reputed heroines such as Tamanna, Hansika and others.

Long back, it was reported that he got impressed by the story narrated by director duo, JD – Jerry (Joseph D Sami and Gerald) and given nod to act in the film. It was also reported that some of the top heroines are approached to pair up with Saravanan in the movie. Music composed by Harris Jayaraj, the film is going to have Urvashi Rautela in the female lead role and actresses Raai Laxmi and Yaashika Anand has been roped in to make special appearance for two different songs.

Saravanan who decided to release the film as a Pan Indian one, recently conducted a press meet and answered to the questions of the reporters. Talking about the budget of the film, Saravanan said that the film was made of more than Rs.60 crore budget. He said Superstar Rajinikanth and Thalapathy Vijay are his inspirations to act in movies.

Talking about himself resembling the mannerisms of Superstar Rajinikanth, “Legend” Saravanan said that he has been a big fan of the actor for a very long time and couldn’t avoid it even if he tries to do so. “I can’t avoid it as it comes to me naturally” he was seen saying in the video.
