Reacting to a report that said Bollywood actor Ranbhir Kapoor returned to work two days after his marriage with actress Alia Bhat, Group Captain MJ Augustine Vinod VSM (Retd), said that he returned work with his wife two hours after his marriage during the Kargil war that took place in the year 1999. The tweet garnered wide reach among the users of the micro blogging social media site with someone asking why he didn’t wait for the war to end. Replying to the online user, the army officer said that he didn’t want to die a Bachelor.

Ranbhir Kapoor and Alia Bhat got married on 14tb of April in an intimate marriage ceremony with their close friends and relatives. From Pre-wedding to post wedding ceremonies, all were held at Ranbir and Alia’s Vastu house in Bandra, Mumbai.
Each detail about the wedding of the Bollywood celebrities has been grabbing headlines across the prominent media portals of the country. A report emerged saying that Rabhir returned to work two days after his marriage. “Ranbhir returned to wedding two days after his wedding. Like Ranbhir, Mother Neetu also dived back into work after wedding” the headline read.

Ex Indian Army Chief Ved Malik commented on the post saying “That was the spirit in the Army then” whereas many others expressed their admiration towards the Army man. When a twitter user asked Augustine why he couldn’t wait for the war to end, he replied writing “Great question !! Didn’t want to die a bachelor. Wanted to be married to her before I went”
