In a shocking and tragic incident in Hyderabad, a 21-year-old trainee nurse lost her life after being attacked by her own brother for posting videos on social media platforms. The heartbreaking episode has once again brought attention to the potential dangers and consequences of social media use.

Azmeera Sanghvi, a young and ambitious trainee nurse from Yellandu town in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, had recently completed her Auxiliary Nurse Midwife course and secured a job at a government hospital. However, her dreams and aspirations were tragically cut short when her passion for creating Instagram reels and YouTube shorts became the cause of a family dispute that turned fatal.

According to reports, Sanghvi’s brother, Azmeera Harilal, had repeatedly cautioned her against making and uploading videos on social media platforms. Despite his warnings, Sanghvi chose to continue sharing her content online, disregarding the potential consequences and her brother’s concerns.

On July 24, the situation escalated when Harilal discovered his sister making videos for Instagram. An argument ensued, and in a fit of rage, Harilal struck Sanghvi with a pestle, inflicting severe injuries. Sanghvi’s mother, Azmeera Devi, rushed to her aid and promptly arranged for her to be transported to a hospital in Khammam for urgent medical attention.

Tragically, Sanghvi’s condition worsened during the transfer, and she succumbed to her injuries in the ambulance while en route to another hospital in Warangal. The devastating news left her family and the entire community in shock and mourning. Following the horrifying incident, Harilal fled from the family home, presumably overcome with guilt and fear. However, he was soon apprehended by the police, and a murder case was filed against him based on a complaint lodged by Sanghvi’s grief-stricken mother, Azmeera Devi.
