It might not be the first time that a popular female personality’s clothing and style has been scrutinised by culture-upholding, moral-policing netizens. One such twitter user came up with a comment slamming popular video jockey Parvathy, saying that she started exposing her “body” to earn money and gain fame. The “cooku with comali” participant who is known for interacting with her online followers, highlighted the comment in her twitter timeline and expressed her frustration over people who involve in moral policing.

Parvathy who is presenting shows for “Galatta” youtube channel, rose to fame among Internet audience after interviewing actor, music director, filmmaker Hip Hop Aadhi. She is enjoying a huge sum of followers in social media platforms and is engaging her followers by uploading the pictures from her photoshoots with motivational quotes and with quotes defining herself.

On Monday, Parvathy uploaded a couple of pictures of herself and wrote “Wild & Free | Raw & Real” as her caption.

On seeing this post from her, a twitter user named “Pal Raj” came up with an obscene comment, assassinating her character. He said that the video jockey started showing her body to earn money and gain fame and the inappropriate comment grabbed Parvathy’s attention as well.

She immediately vented her emotions out by asking Pal Raj to stop judging people based on their clothes. Parvathy felt the comment was cheap and shared it in her twitter timeline to expose the abuser. “How cheap ? How can you question a Persons Costume choice ? It’s just a costume.. And i feel real and confident. Stop your judgemental ideologies.” read the reply comment of Parvathy.

To another follower who advised the anchor on how powerful women are, Parvathy explained him that she didn’t upload the picture to attract people. “A women has all the freedom to explore her body & looks. It’s not for the men. It’s for herself.” she was forced to write due to the comment posted by the online user.

Parvthy recently announced that she going to make her acting debut in Tamil cinema through an upcoming project of Hip Hop Aadhi. She thanked the music composer for changing her life into a whole new direction through her post.
