“Hindi People Are Good People, Everyone Should Learn It” – Famous Tamil Actress Got Trolled

Amid the controversies that are floating around which language should be the national language of India, famous Tamil actress Suhasini, during her press interaction, had said that people who speak Hindi language are good in character and everyone should learn the language in order to speak with them. This statement from the wife of ace filmmaker Manirathnam has grabbed headlines of prominent media portals with a number of it online users making fun of her.

Ever since Home minister Amit Shah made a statement saying that people in India should use Hindi as link language instead of English, a huge controversy erupted in the country. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan’s tweet reply to Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeepa added fuel to the fire.

Ajay questioned Sudeep why he is dubbing the films of his language to Hindi if he feels Hindi is not the national language of India. He also made a strong statement saying that Hindi was, is and will be the national language of the country.

Kichcha Sudeepa, at the trailer launch of a film said, “Someone said Pan India Film was made in Kannada. I would like to make a small correction. Hindi is no more the national language of India. They are doing Pan India films today. They are struggling by dubbing in Telugu and Tamil and not achieving the success. Today we are making films that reach everywhere” the senior actor said.

Reacting to the statement of Kichcha Sudeepa, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan who is known for acting in Hindi films for several decades, questioned Sudeep why he is dubbing his films in Hindi if he feels Hindi is not our national language. He also made a statement saying that Hindi was, is and will be India’s national language.

Oscar winning musician A. R Rahman, while interacting to a press reporter said that Tamil is the link language among all. Now, senior actress Suhasini was questioned about the same and the actress said that everyone should learn as much languages as possible to improve their knowledge.

“Everyone should treat every languages equally. Hindi is a good language, we should learn it. People who speak Hindi are good in character and to speak with them, we should learn Hindi. Tamil people and their language is also good. It will be efficient for us to learn many languages” the actress said.

Many kind of reactions are surfacing in the internet platforms regarding the statement made by the actress. Majority number of them trolled Suhasini for generalizing people who speak Hindi as “good people”. A user even pointed out that the actress who said everyone should learn Hindi language, didn’t say that everyone should learn “Tamil” language.
