Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara married in a private ceremony that took place in Mahabalipuram, Chennai. It has been reported that Superstar Rajinikanth handed over the mangalsuthra to Vignesh shivan to tie the knot. Actor Vijay, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya, Ajith kumar, Karthi and many other important celebrities from Indian film industry participated in the event to bless the most loved couple of Kollywood town.

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara fell in love during the making of their first film “Naanum Rowdy Thaan”. Since that, the couple were involved in a live-in relationship for 7 long years and successfully got married now. On the proessional font, they both started a production venture named “Rowdy Pictures” and has been producing and distributing films through that banner.
