From the past one year, Shruti Haasan has been sharing photos with a handsome hunk, who later was revealed to be her boyfriend named Michael Corsale. Though she hardly spoke about him on the public domain, the couple showered love on each other by sharing adorable photos with cute captions. Since the time, they started dating, the couple has been juggling between the US and India to spend quality time with each other.

Noe to our shock the couple have reportedly parted ways after dating for over two years. A friend close to Shruti and Michael told Mumbai Mirror that the decision to break-up was mutual and that they’ve parted ways on a good note.

The Katamarayadu actress and Michael dated for a couple of years and the two celebrated Christmas 2018 and ringed in the New Year 2019 along with friends in the US. When there were strong rumours about their marriage, Michael, took to Twitter today (April 26), to announce that they have parted ways.

He wrote, “Life has just kept us on opposite sides of the globe unfortunately and so we have to walk solo paths it seems. But this young lady will always be my best mate. So grateful to always have her as a friend. Luv ya gal (sic)”

Shruthi also hinted about her break up few days back with apost in which she wrote “Begin again 🖤 a new phase, thankful and blessed, for all the love lessons and light.the brightest light shines deep inside the darkest of places. More music more movies and more me – can’t wait. Being with myself has and always will be my greatest love story.”

Shruti and Michael started documenting their relationship on social media from 2016. Shruti shuttled between Los Angeles and India while Michael also frequently visited India to hang out with Shruti. Michael also attended Tamil actor Aadhav Kannadasan and Vinodhnie Suresh’s wedding with Shruti and her father, actor Kamal Haasan, in December.

Michael Corsale is a singer and theatre artiste. Shruti Haasan’s upcoming projects are Power (in Hindi) and Tamil film Laabam.
