Director Alphonse Puthren of “Premam” fame about whom Vijay talked about in his recent interview ahead of his “Beast” release, came up with a series of stories in his Instagram handle as a reaction to Vijay’s words. The posta were uploaded by fans congratulating him to do the project soon.

On Sunday, Sun TV telecasted the interview of actor Vijay, interviewed by Nelson Dilipkumar, director of his upcoming film. For the first time in last 10 years, actor Vijay appeared in a television channel for the promotion of his upcoming movie. The actor who was opting for audio launch to interact with his fans for the past few years, answered the questions of “Beast” director Nelson Dilipkumar in the interview which took place in the office of Sun Pictures owned by Kalanithi Maaran who bankrolled “Beast”.

Starting from working with Pooja Hegde, Anirudh to Vijay Makkal Iyakkam members taking part in Tamil nadu local body elections and winning, the actor shared about many things including his personal and professional life. Talking about “Beast”, the actor wanted the audience to watch it and tell whether it is good or not and said that no one would make a film to become a “flop”.

“I only know to judge whether the scenes that impressed me during the narration worked out or not after the making but the final verdict belongs to the audience” Vijay said in the interview. When Nelson Dilipkumar asked Vijay why he stayed away from interviews for the past 10 years, Vijay cited a print interview as one of the reasons for staying away from media.

Nelson went on to ask Viijay about the future of his son Sanjay. The actor said that he would let him do anything he wants but he is currently opting for 2 years of time to think. “No matter whether he chooses to stay behind the camera or in front it, I would give him my support if he wants” Vijay said who also shared about director Nelson Dilipkumar meeting him personally to tell a story for his son.

“Director of “Preman” met me once and I thought he was going to narrate a story for me. But he surprised me saying that he wants to narrate a story for Sanjay. I was hoping for Sanjay to nod “yes” but he said that he wants two years of more time. “Please tell it to sir” Sanjay requested me” said Vijay in the interview.
