World famous “Village cooking Channel” makers made their movie debut through Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and has released a video thanking the team for their opportunity. Members of the channel who are known for their cooking videos in YouTube, appeared in “Vikram” as a cooking team for a marriage. Uttering their trade mark “Ellarum Vaangaa”, the team members received huge roar from the audience in the theatres.

Village cooking channel who recently achieved the feat of 1 crore subscribers, are being loved by the people across the globe for the content they are making in their youtube channel. The paddy farmers and cooks who are running the youtube channel have managed to endear their village, Chinna Veeramangalam in Pudukottai district, to an international audience. V Subramaniam, V Murugesan, V Ayyanar, G Tamil selvan and T Muthumanickam are cousins and they are led by their grandfather and former caterer M Periyathambi.

They earned people’s love across the globe through the aesthetic way of cooking traditional tamil food items. After completing, the makers would serve them to people who are living in Ashrams. Now, they have made their film debut through the most awaited “Vikram” which released on 3rd of June.

“We watched “Vikram” film I’m theatres today. The film was massive and was to the next level. We have always witnessed the love of people through their comments in our YouTube channel. Now, we have witnessed the people’s love lively in theatres” they said in their video.

“We couldn’t hear the dialogues we uttered in the theatre as people were celebrating in the theatres. Thanks to Lokesh Kanagaraj annan for giving us this opportunity. We also thank Kamal Haasan sir for giving us this opportunity  of being a small part of this ” Vikram” movie which is going to last in people’s heart forever. Assistant Directors of Lokesh Kanagaraj took care of us very well”  said the youtubers.

“Lokesh annan said that we might get film opportunities in future but he should be the one who introduced us. We don’t known if we would get opportunities in the future but if it happens, the credits should go to Lokesh annan” they further said and thanked actor Vijay Sethupathi for the life advices he gave in the shooting spot of Vikram.

Vikram which released on 3rd of June with much expectations, seemingly exceeded the level of anticipation of the audience. Plot of the film revolves around former militant Vikram accomplishing a mission to destroy the drugs that has potential to ruin the society.

With Kamal Haasan playing the titular role, Vijay Sethupathi appeared as a ruthless drug Lord with three wives. Fahad Fassil played the role of a private detective agent and Suriya appeared in a guest appearance as well. The film is doing extremely doing well in theatres and has collected Rs. 100 crores in 2 days, says reports.
