Critically acclaimed filmmaker Thangar Bachan who is known for directing films such as “Azhagi”, “Thendral”, “Onbathu Roobai Note”, in one of his recent interviews, slammed actor Ajith kumar for not meeting his producer and fans but only expecting crores and crores of income through his films.

The most expected “Thunivu” of actor Ajith kumar is scheduled to release during the “Pongal” festival. Trailer of the film got released recently and has been receiving positive reception from the fans. It is very well known that actor Ajith is known as a person who doesn’t like attending the promotional events of his films.

For “Thunivu”, he released a statement saying that a “good film is a promotion by itself”, in a way of indicating that he won’t be available for the promotion again. Now, a video of filmmaker cum actor Thangar Bachan criticizing the “Mankatha” actor for not meeting his fans but only expecting revenue from their hard earned money is doing rounds in social media platforms.

“You can’t even meet Ajith kumar. He is living in a different planet. He won’t meet producers of his movies. He also denies meeting his fans who are spending their hard earned money to watch his movies. Working people gave him everything but he doesn’t care about anything. He just want crores and crores of money. Why are you asking my opinion about him” the filmmaker asked.

Being one of the leading actors of Kollywood, actor Ajithkumar enjoys a huge fan base in Tamilnadu. The film which is titled as “Thunivu”, is touted to be a heist thriller and Vinoth who impressed fans with his debut “Sathuranga Vettai”, is expected to give an intriguing entertainer this time. Post that, the actor has committed a film with director Vignesh Shivan of “Naanum Rowdy Thaan” fame.

As the makers announced that “Thunivu” will be releasing for the upcoming Pongal event, a speculation on Ajith kumar participating in the promotions of the film got surfaced in media. Responding to the same, he came up with a message through his manager who updated a tweet in his Twitter timeline saying “”A good film is promotion by itself!! – unconditional love!
