“He Will Live Through His Films” – Entire Film Industry Mourned For The Demise Of Director SP Jananathan !!

The news on national award winning director S.P Jananathan’s demise which surfaced on Sunday shook the entire film fraternity and fans. From Shruti Haasan who worked with him in “Laabam” to “Jayam” Ravi, many celebrities came up with tweets paying their condolences for the revolutionary filmmaker.

“It is with the heaviest Heart that We say good bye to #SPJananathan sir – it was a pleasure working with you sir Thankyou for your wisdom and kind words you will always be in my thoughts ! My deepest condolences to his family” wrote Shruthi Haasan in her tweet.

After visiting his funeral, actor “Jayam” Ravi who worked with him in “Peraanmai”, met the reporters and said that the filmmaker will live through his films. “He was like a family member to us. No function would take place in our house without him. Beyond a filmmaker, he is a brither to me. His role in my growth is immense” said Jayam Ravi and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

“He left us so soon. He will continue living through the films he made. No one could replace him. I feel proud to have spent these many years with him. He taught me so much. He will be blessing us from above” he added.

Director D. Imman, in his tweet, wrote “Laabam director #SPJananathan , is no more… Incidentally he passed away on the death anniversary of social revolutionary #KarlMarx , who was his role model. We miss you sir.” to pay his condolences for the filmmaker.

“So heartbreaking this is.. RIP #SPJananathan sir.. Such an inspiration to me n many. A great soul to be remembered always” read the tweet uploaded by director Mohan Raja.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi visited the funeral and paid his last respects.

Many other filmmakers and fans came up with tweets regretting for the demise of the “Iyarkai” maker.
