The news on national award winning director S.P Jananathan’s demise which surfaced on Sunday shook the entire film fraternity and fans. From Shruti Haasan who worked with him in “Laabam” to “Jayam” Ravi, many celebrities came up with tweets paying their condolences for the revolutionary filmmaker.

After visiting his funeral, actor “Jayam” Ravi who worked with him in “Peraanmai”, met the reporters and said that the filmmaker will live through his films. “He was like a family member to us. No function would take place in our house without him. Beyond a filmmaker, he is a brither to me. His role in my growth is immense” said Jayam Ravi and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
“He left us so soon. He will continue living through the films he made. No one could replace him. I feel proud to have spent these many years with him. He taught me so much. He will be blessing us from above” he added.
