While many people are posting videos and tweets blaming the existence of nepotism in Bollywood for the demise of young actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Rohini Iyer, a popular film journalist and a closest friend of him, penned an emotional note denying all the opinions being posted by public and bollywood celebrities regarding the death of the 34 year old. Rohini, through her posts said that Sushant barely had three friends and she is one among them. She blatantly expressed that she hates the way how media and few people are portraying his death and the way they are using him for their two bit fame.

“Every single person who wants their two bit fame has an opinion on his life.” she wrote in her post to slam people who are posting unnecessary personal details of the actor to get attention for a short span. Rohini said that Sushant didn’t give a fuck about fame or people’s opinions. In her post, Rohini said that Sushant is the one who turned down Bollywood’s opportunities and not the other way around. “He rejected your parties, He rejected your lobbies, He had his own kingdom” said Rohini through her Instagram post.
Rohini made it clear that Sushant had a life beyond films and the industry was a small part of his life. She even stated that Sushant never cared about success or failures but was keen on doing what he desires. “He walked out of an award function just cos he got bored . This was even before they announced his best actor award .” she wrote in her post and said that a trophy won’t attract him. “He was a force of nature. His accomplishments are multifold. He was as simple as quantum physics . He was a crazy genius. He read Sartre and Nietzsche , he studied astronomy and stoicism , he wrote poetry , played the guitar , wrote with his left and right hand. He cared about saving the planet , the world , about going to Mars, he invested in charities , in science projects and innovations that were beyond your comprehension .” wrote Rohini in her post and asked people not to reduce his talent.
In her next post, Rohini asked people who wants to talk about him to celebrate his life which was larger than the movies he aspired to make. Rohini said that Sushant is the one who rejected Godfathers and big ticket films that he didn’t have a belief in. “He didn’t take calls of the high and mighty if he didn’t want to . He didn’t care about money, I’ve seen him return pay checks worth crores . If he wanted to switch his phone off and go farming or fishing , he would .” her post read.
Rohini who said that Sushant is like her son, sweared to protect his legacy. She said that Sushant never cared about what people thought about him. “I just want everyone to know and remember him for the person he really was . Not this manufactured version the peddlers are trying to sell.” she said who went on to add that Sushant was a pure diamond. Rohini who said that Sushant wouldn’t care about people’s opinions about him if he is alive now, said that she cares. “Protecting his legacy is important to me . So setting the record straight once and for all .” she said in her post.
