Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to state Tamilnadu, hashtag “Go Back Modi” is trending worldwide. Through the hashtag, Tamil nadu based online users could be seen expressing their displeasure over the ruling of the BJP party in the centre. Popular political analyst Sumanth Raman, replying to one of the Anti-Modi tweet, said that he is not BJP leader Modi but the Prime minister of our nation and called people who trend the hashtag as “idiots”.

On Thursday, Prime minister Narendra Modi reached Chennai with five-tier security from the administration for the inauguration and laying foundation stone for a slew of projects. Irrespective of the purpose of his visit, twitterati decided to trend hashtag against him.

Tamil speaking twitter users are not happy with the Modi government due to various reasons including the ideology of BJP, Price hike, Fuel rates, Hindi imposition controversy, Allegations on instigating religious riots, allegations of supporting business tycoons instead of commoners etc.

Sumanth Raman, popular Television anchor, Doctor, Political analyst came up with a tweet saying that Modi arrived Tamil nadu not as a BJP leader but as a Prime minister of our country to inaugurate useful projects and those who oppose him must be a special kind of “idiots”.
