While the entire country is celebrating the massive victory of “KGF Chapter 2” of Yash and Prashant Neel, a negative hashtag is being trended by the fans of Kannada movie industry against the 36 year old star. Through the tweets which are trending under the hashtag, it could be understood that the fans of Kannada actor Darshan are not happy with Yash being mentioned as “Box Office Sulthan”.

Most of the online Kannada movie fans allege that the title was used to mention actor Darshan years before and spewing hatred at Yash by trending “Title Stealing Star Yash” in the micro blogging social media site. Another set of fans could be seen trending the same hashtag by terming Kannada actor Rakshith Shetty as “Rocking Star”, a title which I widely used to mention Yash post the release of KGF.

It all started after KGF’s production house “Hombale Films” uploaded a post with a caption saying “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐱-𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 🔥” to celebrate the film’s 25 days.

KGR chapter 2 which is a sequel of 2018 released KGF, got released on 14th of April with much expectations from the fans and successfully exceeded it. With Yash playing the lead role as Rocky Bhai, KGF chapter 2 had Sanjay Dutt as main antagonist and Raveena Tandon as a honest politician.

The film is doing wonders not only in the box office of Kannada and Hindi industries but also in Tamil industry. KGF 2 revolves around Rocky bhai achieving the promise he made to his mother in his childhood confronting deadly gangsters and cunning politicians, contains high octane action, romance, sentiment and all the aspects that a commercial film should contain. Running past 25 days, the film refuses to slow down and has collected more than Rs. 1100 crore worldwide, according to reports. The film became the second highest Indian film with more collection after Bahubali and has surpassed Bollywood films such “Dangal”, ” PK” etc.

Along with the love and reception Yash is getting, a tiny amount of hatred is also being spewed at the star. On the evening of Wednesday, hashtag “Title Stealing Star Yash” is trending among the online users due to a tag “Box office Sulthan” that was used to mention the KGF star.

A number of fans could be seen bringing the google search result of “Box office Sulthan of Kannada film industry” which shows Darshan and Kichcha Sudeepa with many other fans reacting in various ways.
