Music composer Harris Jayaraj opened about his connection with the “Chakku Chakku” song of “Asuran” movie which was used in the recently released “Vikram” film and made the fans go gaga over it. Many fans lauded the musician for the work he did in the song nearly 30 years ago.

In “Vikram”, an old Tamil song which starts like ” Chakku Chakku” having Napolean, Mansoor Ali Khan, Roja in it was used for a fight scene that had Kamal Haasan leading his men inside a lock up. The catchy song caught the attention of the fans who started streaming the song in YouTube which is receiving thousands of views in internet now.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for using the vintage songs in his movies during crucial situations. In “Kaithi”, the filmmaker used songs such as “Jumbalakka”, “Metro Channel Munna Paaru” etc. In “Vikram”, he opted “Chakku Chakku” which had Mansoor Ali Khan whom he wanted to cast in the lead role of “Kaithi” initially.

Comments on the peppy song’s clarity and sounding kept surfacing in YouTube, on seeing which, music composer Harris Jayaraj came up with a tweet in his twitter handle, revealing about his connection with the song.
