Harris Jayaraj Deleted His Tweet About Sri Lankan Singer Yohani After Seeing The Comments !!


Music composer Harris Jayaraj deleted his tweet in which he posed with singer Yohani after seeing the comments that surfaced from users who questioned him for collaborating with the daughter of one of the Sri lankan army leaders Prasanna De Silva who was involved in eliminating the LTTE cadres led by Velupillai Prabhakaran. Harris Jayaraj said that “she is too good” in his tweet by adding a picture in which lyricist Madan Karky was also seen posing with the duo.

Yohani Diloka De Silva is a Sri lankan singer who became an overnight sensation after her song “Manika Mage Mithe” went viral among the users of social media platforms. Recently she met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and taught him about how to sing the song, video of which went viral among the Bigg Boss viewers as the encounter took place for the cash-rich show.

On Monday, prominent Tamil music director Harris Jayaraj came up with a tweet in his official twitter handle, writing “You are too good Yohani music” in his caption and also thanked lyricist Madan Karky.

As soon as he uploaded the tweet, several comments surfaced condemning Harris Jayaraj for collaborating with Yohani. “Son of Prabhakaran got killed at the age of 13 only because he was born to Prabhakaran. Now, daughter of the killer is becoming a singer in Tamil nadu. Thank you Tamil nadu” a user wrote in his comment whereas another one shared the video of Yohani singing about her father’s sacrifice.

On seeing these kind of comments, Harris Jayaraj deleted his tweet. Earlier, Vijay Sethupathi backed himself from the project of himself acting as Sri lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan after seeing the online outrage and condemnations.
