A video that shows an American woman abusing and hurling racist remarks at four Indian-American women sent shock waves among the internet users. The woman got booked under relevant sections and arrested by the cops. In the viral video, she was seen saying that “Indians are everywhere” and asked the women to go back to India. She also physically attacked at least two women while screaming at them.

The accused has been identified as Esmeralda Upton from Mexico, America. The incident took place at a parking lot in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday which dates as 24th of August. “I hate you Indian. All these Indians come to America because they want a better life” the Mexican-American was heard saying in the video.

This racist attacking these innocent women is Esmi Upton of Plano, Texas. Full name: Esmeralda Armendarez-Upton, she is a realtor for California Federal Bank. She is a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, TX.

“Go back to India. You people are ruining this country” she said to the group of Indian women. Upton also used racial slurs and at a point, she was seen smacking at least two of the women physically. The video surfaced in the micro blogging social media site with an user writing “This incident occurred in Dallas, Texas after mom and her three friends went to dinner”

Though Mom was seen requesting Upton not to make racial slurs, she didn’t stop and went on to attack the group of women. “Everywhere I go, You Indians are everywhere. If life was so great in India, why are you here ?” she was seen screaming in the video. After using the “F” word to abuse the women, she was seen assaulting them as well.

As a result, Esmeralda Upton was arrested by the Plano Police detectives on Thursday afternoon. She has been charged with assault, bodily injury and terroristic threats and is being held on a total bond amount of $10,000. “This incident is currently under investigation by the Plano Police Department’s Crime Against Persons Unit as a hate crime. Additional charges may be forthcoming” Press release of Plano Police read.
