As soon as the report of Kaushik’s demise surfaced, many leading superstars of South Indian film industry including Tamil’s Dhanush, Telugu’s Vijay Devarakonda, Malayalam’s Dulquer Salmaan came up with tweets remembering him. Actor Karthi said that he met Kaushik just two days ago at press conference whereas producer Dhananjayan uploaded a tweet saying that he messaged at 12 : 28 PM and died hours later. Vettri theatre owner said that Kaushik was talking to him about watching the FDFS of “Thiruchitrambalam” at the theatre.

Kaushik was just 35 years old while he had a cardiac arrest and died while sleeping. The movie reviewer was supposed to attend the press meet of upcoming movie Jiivi 2. When he didn’t attend the interview, his friends called him, they came to know that the film critic went to sleep around 2 PM and did not return.

Being an engineer by profession, Kaushik started his career as a film tracker through Behindwoods and went on to start doing in on his own. Lately, he was interviewing celebrities for Galatta youtube channel while enjoying 4 lakh plus twitter followers. Tweets of the celebrities made one thing clear that the life is uncertain and it is important to live it to the fullest while we are alive.
