On Thursday, IPL Founder and former chairman of the cash rich cricketing league, confirmed dating famous actress Sushmitha Sen who predominantly appeared in Bollywood cinema. Initially, Lalit came up with a several pictures of himself with the actress terming her as his “better looking partner” and said that it is a “a new beginning a new life” for him.

Later, he came up with another tweet confirming that they both didn’t get married yet but only dating and hoped for them to marry each other soon. In one of the photos shared by Lalit, it could seen Sushmitha posing with Lalit and his ex wife Minal Modi who passed away in 2018 at the age of 64.

Lalit Modi was the IPL commissioner, when the scam occurred. Modi ran the tournament for three years until 2010. He also served as the chairman of Champions League during 2008-10. He was the vice president of Board of control for cricket in India during 2005-10. He also served as the president of Rajasthan cricket Association and as the vice president of Punjab cricket association. Being a close associate of BJP leader Vasundhra Raje, Modi once held considerable political clout in Rajasthan.

Sushmitha Sen was crowned as Miss Universe in the year 1994 and made her debut in Bollywood in the year 1996 with the film “Dastak”. The actress has two daughters namely Alisaah and Renee. Sen called it quits with her longtime boyfriend and model Rohman Shawl in December 2020. She has also dated filmmaker Vikram Bhatt. The 46 year old actress was last was last seen in the web series Arya 2.
