South Indian star actress Samantha who is known for pairing up with some of the top heroes of Tamil, Telugu film industries, revealed about the first ever income she received during her teen days, in the recent chat session she conducted with her Instagram followers. Sharing about her acting experience in “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal”, Samantha hoped for the film to become a huge success for the work done by filmmaker Vignesh Shivan.

The actress also answered to some other questions based on her personal and professional life. “My first income was Rs. 500. I worked at a hotel as hostess for 8 hours for a conference” Samantha said and added that she was in her 10th or 11th standard at that time.

To a follower who asked the actress to answer on “Kanmani” or “Khatija”, Samantha said “No Kanmani without Khatija and no Khatija without Kanmani”. On getting 23 million followers in Instagram, Samantha wondered how did she get that lucky and thanked her fans and followers.

“Some tattoo ideas that you would love to have one day” asked a fan and the actress replied “One thing I would tell my younger self is, never ever get a tattoo” and smiled. “Don’t doubt yourself, Don’t let anybody make you doubt yourself. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are not good enough. Follow your dreams. Don’t feel guilty” Samantha said as a message to young girls.

According to India Today, The actress charges between Rs. 3 crore and Rs. 5 crores for a film depending on the production house, co-stars, script and various other factors. Reports emerged saying that Samantha got Rs. 5 crore to feature in an item song of “Pushpa” of Allu Arjun.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu , one of the top actresses of south Indian film industry in terms of fan base and market, is currently busy acting in Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaathal”. The film which is being directed by Vignesh Shivan, is also going to have his fiance Nayanthara as one of the leads. The film is scheduled to release on 28th of April.

She is also expected to be seen in “Shaakuntalam”, a mythological drama film, written and directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju. She recently made her digital debut with the second season of the popular Hindi series The Family Man.
