The prequel Tamil Padam was rollicking laughathon and if this brilliant teaser is anything to go by, we have a worthy sequel in hand. Tamil Padam starred Mirchi Siva, Ishwarya Menon, Sathish, Manobala amid others. The film is being bankrolled by Y Not Studios.

Taking its trademark parody culture to a new level, the poster features actor Shiva, the star of the comedy franchise, pulling an O Panneerselvam. Dressed in a crisp white shirt and veshti, Shiva sits meditating in front of a memorial, while a host of photographers click pictures of him in the background.

Tamizh Padam is a franchise which is directed by C.S Amudhan. It is released in theatres this Thursday. Last month the makers released a 40-second teaser that made us ROFL. In Tamizh Padam 2, the makers trolled several politicians and big wigs of Tamil cinema. Right from Rajinikanth to Ajith, the makers did not spare anyone. In the film, there are references of Tamil films like Vijay Sethupathi’s Vikram Vedha, Ajith’s Vivegam and Mankatha and Vijay’s Mersal and Thuppaki and Rajinikanth’s Kabali. Twitter is cracking up with the way the makers have trolled Kabali and Vivegam in this one.

Producer Yuvan Shankar Raja and director Elan, the brains behind Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, are on cloud nine. The film has turned out to be a hit across Tamil Nadu and has also received positive reviews from critics.

Now, the producer-composer of the film, Yuvan, has gifted a car to director Elan to express his happiness at the success of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal.

Elan also shared some pictures on the micro-blogging site. Here’s the tweet:

Elan, however, said in a tweet that the decision was taken by Yuvan and team even before the release of the film.

The film opened to a great response at the box office in spite of clashing with Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2.

Now the parody film director shared those pictures and mentioned Tamizh Padam producer’s official ID in his twitter account indirectly asking car as a gift from his producer humorously.

But his funny action made a fan angry who watched Tamizh Padam. He used bad words to abuse the director which was handled by him calmly.

To this the director said “It is pity of seeing such people like you. It is very difficult to scream like you when no one is watching. you too will have a life i believe. Don’t worry” replied the director.

The follower did not absconded or deleted his comment but answered to the director’s comment which was a shock.
