A tweet uploaded by actor Simbu on Tuesday, is highly believed to be a one to reply Home minister Amit Shah who recently insisted people to use Hindi instead of English across India to convert it as a link language. Most recently, when Oscar winning music director A. R Rahman was asked to answer on the statement of Amit Shah, he replied “Tamizh thaan inippu mozhi” (Tamizh is the sweetest language) using the reporter’s blunder on pronouncing “Inaippu mozhi” (Link language).

Most recently, Union Home minister Amit Shah said that Hindi language should be alternative to English. Presiding over the 37th meeting of the Parliamentary official language committee, Amit Shah said that Prime minister Narendra Modi has decided that the medium of running the government is the official language and this will definitely increase the importance of Hindi language.

When Oscar winning musician AR Rahman was asked to comment on the same, the musician who is known for his love towards Tamil language, said that “Tamil is the sweetest (inippu) language” or “Tamil is the link (inaippu) language” which is still in debate among the online users.

Now, Silambarasan TR who is fondly called as simbu or STR by his fans, came up with tweet writing “Let’s join through Tamil language” in Tamil by using a hashtag saying “Tamil connects”. Followed by him, music director Anirudh also came up with the same tweet.
