Fitness Trainer Arrested For R*ping An Actress !!
A 24 year old actress who predominantly worked in Telugu film industry, accused a fitness trainer named Adithya Ajay Kapoor of sexually assaulting her in the pretext of marriage. The accused has been arrested by the Police officials under relevant sections and the news created shocks waves among the public and cinema industry.
According to reports, the duo met each other during August 2021, at the house of a common friend. “They exchanged their cell phone numbers and stayed in touch” said Police officials to media portals.
“As there was lockdown, she met Adhithya later at his house on J D Somani Marg in Cuffe Parade. He proposed her for marriage and later had sexual intercourse with her” said the Police officer from the station of Cuffe Parade.
The officer further said that they also met each other in Goa where he forcefully had sexual relationship with her in a lodge. “Threatening to kill her and to make her private photos go viral, he had sexual intercourse with her several times. He even incited her against her parents and as a result she shifted to his apartment on January 2022” the official said.
“However, she got tired of his abusive behaviour and went back to the house of her parents during March month” he added. In her complaint, the actress alleged that he continued to threaten her. On 3rd of September, he asked her to meet him and threatened to kill the daughter of her aunt if she fails to turn up, according to the actress’s complaint.
“Adithya met me in Bandra and took me to Cuffe Parade. When I told him I was no longer interested in meeting him, he took me to a restaurant in lower parel and later assaulted meme” the actress informed the Police through her complaint.
After he threatened to file a theft case against her, the actress told about the harassment to her parents and approached the Police with the help of them. “We have taken the victim for a check up at JJ hospital” officials said.
The accused has been booked under sections 376, 323, 504, 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code and 67 and 67 (A) of the Information technology act. The Mumbai Police arrested the accused on Tuesday.
