Aari, who was last seen in Nagesh Thiraiarangam, is now working on his next film, Aleka. The Nedunchalai actor will share screen space with Bigg Boss-fame Aishwarya Dutta. Aari tells us the film will explore contemporary romance in the backdrop of the IT sector, adding, “Even though it is set in the corporate world, the film will cater to all types of people.”

The first look released significantly on the eve of Valentine’s Day has aroused curiosity. It has the picture of a couple in love lying on bed with legs crossed with the tagline, ‘it is not a lust story, it is a love story’. The film is directed by SS Mithran of Ayyanar fame.

“Valentine Day has become a vital part in my life from childhood for it is exactly two days before my birthday. Of course, Love is inevitable and unavoidable in everyone’s life. I feel this birthday to be more special as I am working on a beautiful love story Aleka,” says Aari.

Earlier the trailer of Oviya’s 90ml created big time controversy which even made the veteran producer say that it is a curse for Tamil cinema.

“Aleka isn’t a film about lust, but love. To be precise, it’s glorification of pure love. This film doesn’t have any wrong or bad motives to convey, but instead holds a theme involving social welfare. Aleka to be composed by AG Mahesh with lyrics Yugabharathi. The crew is currently shooting in a single schedule in Chennai, with a couple of songs being planned abroad.
