A heart wrenching news about a Father hiding about the death of his wife to his daughters in order to make them write exams without distraction, has left people of that area and online users who came across the incident devastated. The Father, knowing about the value of education, lied to his daughters saying that their mother was admitted in a hospital due to fracture of leg and made them write their examinations peacefully.

Periyasamy who resides in Kakkan Nagar of Sankaran Kovil, Thenkaasi district, is working as a gas supplying agent in a private company. Periyasamy and his wife Muthu Maari has two daughters named Vaani Eashwari and Kala Raani. Both of them are studying 10th standard at a private school located in Thenkaasi district.

On Monday, Muthumaari sent her daughters to school and was looking after Goats near a Garbage depot in Sankaran Kovil. A car which came hastily collided with Muthumaari which resulted in the latter’s on spot death. Her body was sent for post mortem report and Periyasamy who is aware of the Maths exam that his daughters are going to write the next day, decided to hide them about their mother’s death.

Periyasamy, reportedly said to his daughters that their mother suffered a fracture in the leg and is admitted in a hospital located in Palayam kottai. He asked them to reach the examination centre and write their Maths exam. “You can see your mother after completing the exam” Periyasamy said to his daughters. according to report.

Vani Eashwari and Kalaraani stayed in their aunt’s house and studied there before writing the exam. After completing the exam, they both were accompanied by their relatives to a graveyard. After knowing about the death of their mother, the girls got shattered and cried their heart out. Relatives cried with the girls and the body of Muthumaari was buried post last rites.

“This made my body shiver. Praying God for the should of mother to rest in peace. I wish these sisters to reach a good position in life” a social media users said after knowing about the news whereas another one said “I am shedding tears. Father turned mother here, it’s heart breaking”
