After the success of Chekka Chivantha Vaanamstarring Simbu next with director Sundar C. The film has been titled Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven (VRTV). Megha Akash and Simbu played the lead in this movie. The other stars of the film include Catherine Tresa, Yogi Babu, Bigg Boss Tamil fame Mahat, Ramya Krishnan and Robo Shankar. Music for Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven has been composed by Hiphop Tamizha. Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven has been produced by LYCA production.

With music by Hiphop Tamizha, the movie has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The film also features Megha Akash, Catherine Tresa, Mahat, Ramya Krishnan, Naseer, VTV Ganesh, ‘Motta’ Rajendran, Yogi Babu and Robo Shankar. Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is a remake of the Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi.

As soon as the movie released, reviews for the film kept on pouring from Fans,  Youtube channels and online websites. Now a video of fans laughing in theatre during an emotional scene in which Simbu seen crying to Ramya Krishnan goes viral. Other than that audience who watched the film in theatres also expressed their dispapointment towards the films for being so blunt.

#VanthaRajavathaanVaruven – Sundar C has taken the Audience for granted. Remade an Avg movie & made it worst. Complete ‘Mokkai’ in the name of comedies. Hoping to see STR in a better film next time. Heroines give slight relief. Couple of songs r gud. Very Lengthy. Waste of Time!
