There is no doubt that MeToo movement has given the much-needed courage to many women to speak up and tell about those perverts who have s*xually harassed them at some point in their lives.

It all started after Tanushree Dutta chose to speak against actor Nana Patekar and alleged that Nana molested her 10 years ago. After that, many big actors and personalities of Bollywood such as Alok Nath, Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, etc. have been accused  of s*xually harassing their female colleagues.

A number of other Bollywood celebs have taken a strong stand against such offenders and vowed not to work with them. One such name is Reema Kagti, the director of the movie “Gold” with which Mouni Roy made her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar.

As Reema promised that she won’t be working with those who are involved in such acts, one Twitter user targeted her and alleged that she was the one who s*xually harassed Mouni in “Gold”.

The tweet read, “Oh come on with this hypocrisy!! Reema Kagti has herself been known to s*xually harass Roymouni during Gold movie! The blinds r all over the net! N she is part of this?? 🤔🤔”

Before Reema could have commented, Mouni took to Twitter and clarified that she has not been harassed by anyone during the shooting of the movie.

She wrote, “I was not harassed on the set of Gold by anyone. Director or otherwise. I wish this maligning would stop as it not only harassing me and Reema Kagti but also taking away from women that have truly been wronged.”
