Pictures and Videos of Tamil nadu CM MK Stalin having breakfast with a Narikuravar Family went viral in social media platforms on Friday. The chief minister, while having a plate of idli with Sambhar, Chutney, Naatukozhi Curry and Vada, interacted with the family members and offered a morsel to one of the kids in the house. The gesture of Chief Minister Stalin received accolades from all over the Internet. However, famous Tamil actress Kasthuri who is known for appearing in a number of films including “Indian”, criticized the pictures and videos, denoting that they were orchestrated ones.

Dharshini, a class 7 student was among the three girls who visited the secretariat last month to interact with the Chief MinisterMinister, at his invitation, after a video of girls interacting in English gone viral. During a subsequent telephone interaction, the girls invited Chief Minister to their home.

During his visit to Thiruvallur district, Dharshni and her family members who are residing there invited him to have coffee and urged him to eat breakfast. The Chief Minister agreed and was served a plate of idli and vada with Sambar, Chutney and Naatu Kozhi curry.

While having his breakfast by sitting in a chair, Chief minister MK Stalin offered a morsel to one of the little kids around. The girl’s mother, on seeing Tamil nadu Chief Minister having breakfast at her home, could be heard saying that she couldn’t believe her eyes. Tasting the food, Chief minister questioned about the spice to which the girl’s could be heard saying that spice is good for health.

One of the girls presented a garland of beads to the Chief Minister as well. Pictures and videos of the incident ruled internet throughout Friday. Many criticized the gesture of CM MK Stalin by accusing him of orchestrating such incident voluntarily to gain publicity.

Actress Kasthuri of Bigg Boss fame was the one of the first familiar faces to state such remark. Starting her tweet by comparing Stalin with former chief minister MGR who used to eat with poor women, Kasthuri sarcastically said that it was a nice new plate, specially packed food and kids in uniform on a holiday. The actress also said that one must be careful while staging a picture.

“Growing up, i used to see pictures of MGR eating with a poor old grandma, feeding a kid etc. Good to see CM Stalin emulating the same model. P.S : Nice new plate, specially packed food. And kids in uniform….on a holiday. When u stage a pic,one must be more careful” read her tweet.
